In the periphery of Prague, you can find one of the largest European aquaparks Aquapalace Čestlice. Another possibility of swimming offers the aquapark Barrandov or the swimming stadium Podolí, or a swimming stadium Slavie.

The entire aquapark is divided into three palaces: The Palace of Treasures (Palác pokladů), The Palace of Adventures (Palác dobrodružství) and The Palace of Relaxation (Palác relaxace). The individual palaces are interconnected by "river channels" and so you can swim through from one part to another. Perhaps the biggest lure of this aquapark are the artificial breaking waves. This makes you feel as if you were swimming in the sea. The breakers are switched on always once an hour and they are announced in advance. You can also see there real living sharks, but these are just youthful sharks that are behind a firm glass of a large aquarium. You will find more information on: www.aquapalace.cz

Aquapark Barrandov has many ways of enjoyment for you. Exercise your body, rest your body and mind, or take advantage of the services of our professional staff to enjoy a regenerating massage. We also have a paddling (wading) pool for little children with a mini slide and mini water gargoyles. Brave explorers can go down our 115 metres long red water slide (if they can climb up the 49 stairs to our tower). There is also a smaller blue water slide (62 metres long).

For a perfect relaxation, there is a whirlpool (water massage, whirlpool massage), massage jets and water gargoyles. And when you have had enough of the water, you can just lie down on a massage grate or on a bed with massage air. For more skilful swimmers there is a wild river with an artificial counter-current that will not let you swim in peace. For a more relaxed enjoyment from the water, you can use our 25 metres long swimming pool. You will find more information on: www.aquadream.cz
